Co-ordinators receive a crime sheet each month compiled by our Beat Manager, PC John Kneale. This lists all reported crimes in the previous month, itemised by date, offence, location and property affected.

The dark nights are with us. To keep burglars away: fit a burglar alarm (£300-£400); look in when out (use timer switches on lights); fit an outdoor light; lock doors and windows; watch out for loitering strangers and unfamiliar cars; report any suspicious activity to the police.

So always lock your doors and windows when out.

In addition, members can also access crime information across Rushcliffe, including Bingham East and Bingham West - as well as Leicestershire and Lincolnshire if interested - by logging on to the Nottinghamshire Police Crime Mapping site and clicking on the link to access the local crime mapping site. There you can see statistics for burglary, robbery, vehicle crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.
